Royal Caribbean stops No Discount policy

Royal CaribbeanRoyal Caribbean seems to abandon it’s recently announced no discount policy. According to the policy, made public in April this year, the cruiseline vowed to stop last minute discounting of unsold cabin inventory. That seems to be gone now, and the discounts return.

Which is actually good news for bargain hunters. Royal Caribbean’s return to price reductions and special deals means that monitoring cruise price drops makes more sense than ever. Readers can use our free monitoring service to be alerted when any cruise line is reducing prices.

As far as Royal Caribbean is concerned: The line just launched a global sale for departures after December 10th giving out a discount of 50% for the second passenger – essentially a 25% per cabin discount. This is open for bookings made between now and the end of the year.
